Let’s Organize! Name * First Name Last Name Parking: * Please park on the street, if you see there are a lot of cars near the clients home please spread yourselves out and park a little further away. Do not park in the client's driveaway unless given prior approval (i.e. if the client isn't home, or if there is no street parking, or if you have product in your car and need to load or unload). I agree to the above Breaks + Lunch: * f your shift exceeds 4 hours you will have a 30 min lunch break midday. On long (8-10 hours) or physically taxing days make sure to take small water breaks here and there. The day flies by and I don't want anyone getting burnt out. Please make sure to bring lunch. Oftentimes the clients homes are not near any easy to grab take out places and running out to grab lunch may not be possible. I agree to the above Decorum in a Client's Home: * Please keep in mind that we are in someone's home so no yelling or shouting across the house at each other :). Sometimes the client works from home so please try to be as unobtrusive as possible. -Please do not take phone calls unless it is an emergency or urgent. If you need to take a call please excuse yourself and take the call in a quieter area and come back to work when you are done. Don’t take calls in front of clients. I agree to the above Dress code: * I would suggest wearing sneakers and gym wear (leggings, shorts, tshirts). Even though we are dressing casual please also dress professionally (i.e. no crop tops - do not show your stomach, no shirts with inappropriate words). Please keep in mind that overall the Tidy team is going for a polished / very presentable look. I agree to the above Donations + Goodwill: * During this process, the client will be giving away a lot of items. NEVER ask a client for anything from their home or the giveaway pile. The client often has specifications who or where they would like their items to be donated. Even once the client determines an item is “goodwill” I often reroute those items to charitable organizations. If you think something will end up in goodwill then you can ask me (in private) if you can have a specific item. If a client offers you items in the giveaway, graciously say thank you and set the item aside. Then speak to me how to proceed. On the note of goodwill, we try our very best not to mix up giveaway with items the client wants to keep (things can get hectic). We do this by being extremely careful with how we divide items. Giveaway generally goes in cardboard boxes and white trash bags labeled "giveaway". Trash goes in black trash bags. We try to remove giveaway and trash from the area right away to avoid confusion, however sometimes we are unable to and in that case we have a designated area for giveaway + trash. I agree to the above Client Relationship: * Please avoid mentioning the 4 B's when speaking with a client: Boys - Family or Social Drama Biden - Politics Bills - Money Booze - Drugs or Alcohol *Please practice Active Listening when speaking with a client. **Please do not solicit any Tidy by Chan clients for private work, whether organizing or other. I agree to the above Discretion 1. Never share clients names with anyone. Many clients ask for confidentiality. 2. If you see a client in a social setting greet them and be friendly but wait for the client to share that we organized their home before offering that information. 3. Never repeat what you see at clients. We will see sex toys, private documents and the inner workings of peoples homes. I agree to the above Misc * - Please be on time! Running late makes us look unprofessional. - Don't be afraid to ask questions, especially if you are unsure. I rather you ask me than a mix up or mistake happens. -Do not lift heavy things alone, and in general do not do dangerous things (for example, using a chefs knife to open boxes). - Do not use clients master bathroom, always use guest or powder bath. -If you have to cancel please arrange a swap with another assistant (with my approval). I agree to the above Thank you! We look forward to working with you :)
